How a round works
Lock one by one
Each scoreline stays editable until 60 minutes before that fixture’s kickoff. Server time is authoritative; there is no common round deadline.
Reveal fairly
Your scoreline and every named model’s immutable scoreline stay hidden until that fixture locks. The game reuses the existing model prediction — there is no private second run.
Score and compare
Earn 5 for exact, 3 for outcome plus goal difference, 2 for outcome only and 0 otherwise. Then compare with people and the named AI field.

No. There are no odds, stakes, entry fees, bookmaker links or money to win anywhere in the Arena. You predict exact scores for points.

No prizes, cash or otherwise. You get a score, a human rank and a truthful count of how many completed AI entries you beat.
How are the six matches chosen?
A deterministic, versioned selector publishes one Weekly 6 every Sunday at 19:00 UTC. It balances competitiveness, team quality, importance, popularity and data completeness across at least three competitions.
Why only six matches?
Six keeps the free weekly challenge quick while giving every person and named model the same comparison. It is not an Arena Club limit: clubs can run full matchdays across supported competitions.
When do picks lock?
Each fixture locks 60 minutes before its own kickoff. You can edit the other scorelines until their individual locks; there is no common round deadline.
How does scoring work?
The exact 90-minute score earns 5 points. The correct outcome and goal difference earns 3, the correct outcome alone earns 2, and an incorrect outcome earns 0. The six-match maximum is 30 points.
Is the winner a separate pick?
No. Your scoreline is the only pick: more home goals means home win, fewer means away win and equal goals means draw. There is no separate winner field that can contradict it.
When do the AI predictions become visible?
Each named model’s scoreline stays hidden until that fixture’s T−60 user lock. The game reuses the model’s immutable prediction from the existing pipeline rather than commissioning a separate private run.
What if a model fails to submit?
The result uses the number of AI entries that actually completed. If twelve finish, it says “you beat 8 of 12 AIs” — never 8 of 13.
What is free and what is paid?
Weekly 6 is free. Arena Club is $49/year per club for up to 250 participants, or $19 for one supported tournament, with full matchdays and organiser tools.
